As believers in Christ the passion of our heart should be to see the lost found. Where we have experienced the sould regenerating saving love of God, we seek the same in family members, friends, and even enemies.

As Jesus interacts with the royal official we are given a front row seat on the process of salvation, and watch first hand how Christ conquers ublelief. And he always does it by any means necesary.

Christ did not come into this world to save the most famous or wealthy. Rather, his love of the world was unconditional. In John 4 we see the first evangelistic ministry of Christ to the Samaritan woman at the well; and where she was the most rejected of the rejected, Christ's love penetrated her heart and revealed her need of a Savior.

We are called to love as Christ loved and his love exposes everything in our life and reveals our need of everythign He is. And with that love, we are called to love everyone by giving the gospel. Even those the world would call the unlovable.

Most everyone wants to be successful. Thus, they seek success, but according to the standards of the world. Unfortunately this mode of success has been placed upon the church as well. If a church has large numbers, great facilities, and multiple pastors people can label that a success. However, God that is not the standards of God.
Success in Ministry is established has nothing to do with earthly accolades, but rather lies in being the brightest sign on the darkest street pointing out the way of Salvation Jesus Christ.
In this message we survey the culminating ministry of John the Baptist and find the marks of a successful god glorifyin ministry.

The assault on the church is an assault on Christ.
However, though we might think it is the powers from the outside that seek to cripple it, rather it is those inside claiming to be the church.
It begins by exchanging zeal for complaceny, worship for laziness, and joy for bitterness. And though the bride is to be a place of respite for the believers, we muddy the walls by succombing to our own sin. But that is not what Christ desired.
Christ desired churches that will boldly proclaim the gospel and live out the gospel in the community for His glory. Thus, are we to be churches that fall prey to the lines of mediocrity and "relevance?" No,
THen what should the church look like? When we go back to the initial days of the church we see an outpouring of the spirit in the lives of the believer. And it all begins with a Supreme focus upon Christ and not self.
In this message, Pastor John Cox examines the early church, and how we are to fight for enduring ministry. For the moment we stop fighting for the righteousness of God within our selves, we turn into the Country club with a Cross on the door.
