Curtis was born in Concord, CA, moved to Burbank, CA as a child, and Cottonwood, CA as a young man. He followed his dad’s footsteps in the Elevator Industry where he became a graduate of and has been an Instructor in the National Elevator Industry Educational Program. He has faithfully worked in the industry for over 25 years. For the last thirteen years, he has been involved with Bible Study Fellowship in Reno. For twelve of those years he has been the primary teaching leader faithfully teaching and training Christian men for church leadership.
Curtis has been blessed to have Lisa as his wife for 24 years. Although they went to high school together, they met on a blind date set up by their mothers a few years later. They moved to Reno from Sacramento in 1995. They have two grown children, Curtis III who is serving as a Marine, and their daughter Shelby.
